The Spit Game is collaborating with New Gen Festival on a series of cyphers in Ealing, Acton, Southall, and Greenford in the run up to the Festival on 30 July.
The first cypher takes place at Soane’s Garden Room, Pitzhanger Manor, in Ealing on 11 June, 6–8pm.
The second cypher takes place at Greenford Library on 18 June, 6–8pm.
The third cypher takes place at Act One cinema in Acton on 26 June, 6–8pm.
The final cypher takes place at the Jasmine Community Centre in Southall on 10 July, 6–8pm.
For those new to the scene, a cypher is an open circle where emcees, or rappers, take turns freestyling, showcasing their lyrical skills and creativity over a beat. It’s a spontaneous and energetic exchange, a true test of on-the-spot wit and rhythm. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting out, it’s a chance to jump in, express yourself, and feed off the energy of the crowd and other artists.
Take part in exciting challenges, wild cyphers, and pure madness…and win a chance to perform on New Gen Festival’s Main Stage!
