Fumez The Engineer has officially been confirmed as a headliner for New Gen Festival. Emerging out of South London, Fumez The Engineer has become one of the most recognised names in UK rap, known for his iconic Plugged In freestyle series that has launched and elevated some of the biggest artists in the game.
Fumez The Engineer is a West London-born audio engineer, producer and rapper who has become one of the most influential figures in UK drill and hip hop. Rising to prominence by engineering and producing tracks for emerging rappers, he built platforms that spotlight raw talent — and in doing so, helped shape the sound of an entire generation.
Known for altering what it means to be an engineer, Fumez adds his own stamp on everything he touches, but it’s his Plugged In freestyle series that truly cemented his legacy. The series has garnered tens of millions of views and launched careers, with the A92 collective episode alone exceeding 50 million YouTube views and 100 million Spotify streams. Beyond the platform, he engineered the remix of Ed Sheeran’s “Bad Habits” featuring Tion Wayne and Central Cee, which reached number one on the UK Singles Chart.
