We’re bringing a slice of our summer festival to Northolt with special guests: Grimm Dreamurr + three artists who were selected for the BBC Introducing show on BBC 1Xtra…Amarachii, Cee2, and Trxth!
The event is free and it’s hosted by Malaeka, who also hosted the New Gen Amplify Stage in July, with open mic spots for singers, rappers, and poets.
Book your free tickets on Eventbrite. If you’d like to perform, fill in this form to let us know you want a spot: Open Mic Sign-Up for New Gen at Northolt Library – Fill in form
This is a friendly, inclusive, and accessible space for young people to share their love of music, build community, and connect with the wider New Gen programme.
New Gen is aimed at ages 14–25 but is open to anyone engaging in youth music. Under-14s will need to be accompanied by a responsible adult (parent/carer). We operate a clean-language policy and artists are asked to perform radio-friendly versions of their work.

Grimm Dreamurr is a singer, rapper, and producer from Ealing. Music has been a part of his life since childhood, starting with church and musical theatre, and his current music draws on all these experiences and influences. He blends soulful R&B/gospel vocals with hard-hitting rap lyrics and clever wordplay. He say, ‘I spell my name Dreamurr with a U R R because if I’m a dreamer, you are too!’.
