New Gen Festival

Southall Open Mic

New Gen is coming to Southall’s Parkside Yards arts centre for an open mic on Thursday 11 July, 6-8pm.

The open mic is organised by Rebels & Pilgrims, who run creative community pop-ups and are also behind one of the takeovers on the West Stage at New Gen this year on 24 July. Rebels & Pilgrims are committed to inspiring everyone living in and around Southall to play, connect, and elevate each other through:

  • Developing a tight-knit creative community
  • Giving talent a space to connect & perform
  • Building diverse outreach programmes
  • Supporting local talent to build their creative careers

If you’re a Southall-based young musician and would like to perform, DM @rebelsandpilgrims on Instagram.
